Q:  How long until I receive my order?

A:  Orders placed by Sunday at noon will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday.  Orders are sent out on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure delivery prior to the weekend and to ensure products are not stuck in warehouse over the weekend.  In most cases your order will arrive to you the Tuesday or Wednesday after your order was placed.  Please use the tracking number provided by email to track your package with Canpar.

 

Q:  How will my products be shipped?

A:  Once you have placed your order, where possible, your products will be shipped by overnight courier frozen in insulated wrapping with freezer packs.  For some more remote areas, overnight shipping may not be possible.  We do all that we can to ensure your product stays as cold as possible during shipping.  

 

Q:  Will I be able to track my package?

A:  YES!  You will receive a tracking number from Canpar that will allow you to track your package yourself until it arrives at your door.  Please use the following contact information to track your package:

Q:  What is the shelf life of your cashew cheeses?

A:  We do not place a best before date or expiry tag on our products. We ship our product in a frozen state and then you can choose to refrigerate it or freeze it when it arrives.

We recommend consuming our product within 60 days of thawing, even if package is unopened.

 

Q:  Can I freeze my Zengarry Cashew Cheese?

A:  Yes!  Our products freeze beautifully for up to 6 months with virtually no change to texture or taste.  Thaw in the fridge for best results.

 

Q:  Are Zengarry Cashew Cheeses gluten-free?

A:  Our products are not certified gluten-free, but we do not use any products containing gluten, except in our Ale Aged cheddar cashew cheese. Our other 6 flavours do not use products containing gluten.

Q:  Do Zengarry cashew cheeses contain soy?

A:  Our Garlic & Fine Herbs, Double Creme and Sun-dried Tomato & Basil flavours do NOT contain any soy.  The Creamy Swiss, Aged Cumin and Smokey Jalapeño flavours contain a small quantity of miso which is a fermented soy.  

The miso used in Zengarry Cashew Cheese production is certified GMO-free.  This is the only soy used in our products.

Q:  Are Zengarry cashew cheeses peanut-free?

A:  We are not a certified peanut-free facility; however, there are no peanuts present in our production facility and our cashews are certified peanut-free.

Q:  What is Quinoa Rejuvelac?

A:  Quinoa Rejuvelac is a probiotic grown with sprouted organic red quinoa that is used to lacto-ferment Zengarry Cashew Cheeses.  The fermentation process gives our cashew cheeses a fuller, more complex taste and contributes additional health benefits to the products.
